Suspend Your Worries

Join us for Aerial Yoga and 'suspend' your way to a healthy body and mind. This is something fun and exciting for the yogis and non-yogis in nearby areas! This gentle form of yoga done with silk hammocks allows you to explore inversions and the feeling of flying free. The hammock serves as a prop used during various poses and stretches. Aerial yoga is complimentary to your mat practice but also can be done by the novice. Because some classes may contain inversions, if you have vertigo, please inform the instructor before class. 


Please arrive to class with enough time to fill out paperwork and allow your instructor to adjust the hammock height.


Requirements: For your comfort and to maintain the integrity of the hammocks...

  • Leggings must be long enough to cover upper legs to at least the knees

  • tops must have a sleeve that covers the arm pit

  • No jewelry of any kind can be worn during class. No zippers or metal on any clothing.


Aerial yoga techniques build a strong body from which one can transition into more advanced stages, including a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a range of difficulties, from beginner to advanced. Appropriate for all levels of fitness.
