Kids martial arts
There are few things as rewarding as setting a goal and reaching it. SMA's instructors use their years of experience and knowledge to create lasting and rewarding relationships with our students in Spectrum's Kids Martial Arts program, helping them discover their drive and passion not only in karate class, but in the outside world. See what the program consists of by reading below.

We apply a scientific method to teaching our kids in both Kids Karate and Kids BJJ, which uses their natural reflexes meshed with proven martial arts techniques. By doing this, we give them a practical, applicable self-defense frame work to build off of when they enter the adult classes. We couple this method with the Play As The Way (P.A.W. tm) method of children's instruction so they have fun while learning.
The Kids Karate and the Kids BJJ classes are separate contracts in our Kids Martial Arts program membership for $100 a month for either one, or $150 a month for both karate and BJJ classes. It is not required in the membership to attend all classes offered in the program, but it is encouraged to attend what your schedule can accommodate. Any child between ages 4-12 years old can try their first Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for free before becoming a member. Because we value the journey of creating knowledge and skill over belts, we do not promote children under the age of 16 years old to black belt.
